Westbound Rocky Mountaineer
We start in Calgary, take a helicopter tour and a gondola ride for a view of six mountain ranges, and enjoy a ride in the Ice Explorer on the Athabasca Glacier. We tour Banff and Yolo National Park before our stay at breathtaking Lake Louise. Then, it’s All Aboard as we travel 2 days on the Rocky Mountaineer train in Goldleaf service. We end with 2 nights in Vancouver.
July 30 to August 3, 2022
Eastbound Rocky Mountaineer
For those who want more train experience, there is the option to journey 3 more days on the train with overnight stops in Whistler and Quesnel, and 2 nights in Jasper. Enjoy a full day scenic tour of Jasper National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Transfer from Jasper to fly home from Edmonton.
June 18 to August 26, 2022
Best of Rockies with Tauck
This begins and ends in Calgary. It includes a helicopter tour, ride aboard the Ice Explorer, and a guided naturalist hike at Lake Louise. You’ll travel by luxury motor coach. This tour includes a wild-west themed reception and a choice of: white water rafting, wildlife tour, or a ride on the Jasper Tramway. Optional activities are: horseback riding, biking, golfing, fishing, or enjoying a spa service.
